Librarian cares about students
I am a student and Whitefish High school discussing the non-renewal of contract one of our most valuable teachers in our schools today, her name is Ms. Craig. What Ms. Craig does everyday is try to make our lives better.
Keep airlines flying in Big Sky Country
All of us who call this state home take pride in its rugged beauty and limitless possibility. Those things are also what draw so many people to Montana each year. The state of Montana has always been a place for opportunity, and transportation has always been directly linked to our ability to thrive. Hospitality is what we do best, and a vibrant transportation sector helps drive our state’s economy and bring millions of tourists to big sky country. However, a looming tax increase currently being considered in our State Legislature threaten to undermine the pro-growth, pro-business environment Montana has worked hard to cultivate. House Bill 661 would dramatically increase taxes on aviation fuel, inflating costs for air carriers and passengers traveling to and from our state. And no one stands to lose more than Montana’s travel and tourism economy and the businesses that support it.
Student speaks on behalf of librarian
In this letter I will covey my opinion on why Ms. Craig should have a contract renewal at Whitefish High School and stay on as our librarian.

Educator integral part of high school

The reason for her dismissal was that she was not a fit in the WHS community. This accusation is completely false as she is perfect fit for the school community. She has training that no teacher would have thought she would. She also has the knowledge that teachers were not expecting her to have.

Whitefish Theatre Co., is responsible for the maintenance and operation of the O’Shaughnessy Center which is used by over 40 community groups. During a performance a component of the fire alarm system failed. We found that it could not be repaired as the unit was 20-plus years old. This necessitated replacing all of the components to insure the safety of all who use and enjoy the O’Shaughnessy Center. Thank you to all Flathead Electric customers who round up their bill. This program is an incredible benefit to the nonprofits in this community helping them with life safety issues. Please round up your bill if you do not already do so.
