Parking lot project moving Along

The first phase of the new parking lot renovation is nearly completed with work scheduled for the back lot starting next week. By the time this week’s Pilot hits the streets we expect the paving of the front lot to be completed with access to that lot restored. When the back lot project is in full mode, parking will be allowed in the upper parking area and all of the front lot areas. Carts will be rerouted to reach the front lot in a safe manner to avoid the construction.

Spring maintenance

This spring we will skip the usual aeration maintenance process and only do a sand topdressing on the greens for both the North and South courses. The deep drilling from last fall to aerate the greens is still very effective and therefore punching new holes is not needed.

Course aerial videos

Check out the videos on our website, golfwhitefish.com, showing a quick tour over both courses using a drone to illustrate just how beautiful the golf courses are. When this project is fully rolled out you will be able to go to the website and see each hole from an aerial view. This could be a great way to showcase the courses to your friends from out of the area.

Register for Season

Opener Tournament

Call the Golf Shop (862-5960) for information on how to register for the Season Opener Tournament that is scheduled for May 4. This will again be a two person net best ball format so handicaps are necessary for all participants unless they choose to play with a zero handicap.

South Course

The opening of the South Course is still on hold until the course has a chance to dry out even more. With some consecutive dry and warm days the course should dry out quickly and allow for opening. Check the courses website for updates and schedule for opening the South.
