Bulldogs athlete Jack Schwaiger has committed to be a double-duty athlete at St. Olaf College next year, playing both football and baseball.

Schwaiger in football will play wide receiver, and he’ll likely stay in the infield for the baseball team, he says.

The chance to continue on in a pair of sports is a big deal to him, he says.

“They wanted me for both baseball and football and they gave me an academic scholarship, so it looked like my best option. When I went to the school I really liked it,” he said. “Just being able to play both sports, I think that’ll be so fun.”

Schwaiger says he will study economics and communications at St. Olaf, which is located in Northfield, Minnesota.
