Eight members of Glacier Nordic Ski Team competed at the Intermountain Youth Championship races in Victor, Idaho. The races gave kids aged 8 - 16 to challenge themselves against skiers from all over the region in three different events.

There were well over 200 racers registered in the competition. The Glacier Nordic team missed earning the Sportsmanship Award by one vote.

Saturday kicked off with an individual start skate race with the distances scaled to the age group. Claire Scott got the team going in the U8 girls 1K and took third. Heidi Bork grabbed first in the U10 girls 1K. In the U12 girls 2K, Hannah Bork took first and Ava Nerdig, 30th.
