Columbia Falls Community Choir starts 47th year

The Columbia Falls Community Choir is about to kick off its 47th year of singing.  

Under the direction of Steven Holte, the choir will rehearse every Sunday at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Columbia Falls from 2-4 p.m., beginning. Jan. 12. 

Anyone with a desire to sing in an adult choir is invited to attend. The choir sings a variety of choral literature from pop to classical music. This year’s musical theme is celebrating family and friends.  

Singers from Columbia Falls, Kalispell, Whitefish, Bigfork, Lakeside and many other places in between gather weekly to share the gift of music.  

The choir will present a concert on April 12 in the Columbia Falls High School auditorium and have a combined concert with the Flathead Valley Community Band on May 7.
