Whitefish dishes up Dudley against Loggers

Cooper Dudley had the hot hand and Whitefish outscored Libby 14-2 in the second quarter en route to a 51-26 Northwestern A Conference victory on Thursday, Feb. 20.

Dudley scored 23 points, and Whitefish turned a seven-point lead in the first quarter into a 29-10 lead at halftime. The Bulldogs then opened the second half off with a 20-6 run.

Carson Gulick added 15 points, while Scott Dalen had six points.

Libby fell to 3-14 on the year and 0-10 in conference play. 

On Saturday, Feb. 22, Frenchtown defeated Whitefish 96-71 in non-conference play. The Bulldogs go into the divisional tournament in sixth place in the conference with a 3-7 league record. They are 6-11 overall.

Whitefish Falls To Browning

Whitefish was held to eight points in the second half in a 53-46 Northwestern A Conference loss to Browning on Tuesday, Feb. 18.

After jumping out to a 19-5 lead in the first quarter, Whitefish went into halftime with a 33-19 lead. Browning opened the second half with a 16-5 run to pull within three points and make it 38-35. The Indians would go on to outscore the Bulldogs by ten points in the final stanza.

CJ Thew led the Bulldogs with 14 points, while Carson Gulick had 11 and Scott Dalen added seven.
