Shors leads Whitefish past Libby

Allie Shors had a big second half for the Lady Bulldogs in a 46-36 Northwest A Conference victory over Libby on Thursday, Feb. 20. Shors scored 14 of her 17 points in the second to lead Whitefish to its third conference victory over the year.

Whitefish led by six points in the first quarter but both teams were tied 18-18 at halftime. The Lady Bulldogs were able to gain a five-point lead in the third quarter and extend their lead by another five points in the fourth quarter.

Stella Frisbee added eight points to Whitefish’s efforts, as did Charlize Ullrich. Reese Hudson had six points.

Libby fell to 1-11 in conference games with the loss.

Browning defeats Whitefish

Browning got off to a hot start, scoring 28 points in the first quarter and getting past Whitefish 69-59 in Northwest A Conference action on Tuesday, Feb. 18.

Charlize Ullrich led the Bulldogs with 15 points, and the Lady Bulldogs pulled to within 44-38 before halftime. Whitefish pulled to within four points in the third quarter, but Browning outscored Whitefish 13-7 in the final stanza.

Reese Hudson scored 12 points and Yoli Krastev notched nine.
