Young players learn, play at Girls Hockey Jamboree

| April 9, 2025 1:00 AM

The Stumptown Ice Den hosted the annual spring 6/8 and 10/12U Girls Hockey Jamboree with kids from Montana, Washington and British Columbia.
A skills and drills session took place with each age group at midday and the teams played games until 9:15 p.m.
Glacier Hockey Association is grateful for student coaches Tilly Daniels, Lovey Gallagher, Grace Wentzel, Kyndle DeMarco, Nieve Schule, Natalie Reilly, Izzy Foster, Drew Sylvester and Marlis Nargi. They helped the young players learn the game while having fun. Thanks, too, to a few local adult coaches, the rink employees and all the parents who stepped up to help, brought snacks, served as scorekeepers, helped set up and break down the half boards and lent a hand anywhere when needed.
