The Braig’s 50th anniversary
Robert Braig and Beverly Simpson Braig were married April 3, 1965, in Great Falls, Montana. They met in Missoula while attending The University of Montana. Beverly wanted to go see "Gone with the Wind" and she needed a date. She asked Bob and the rest is history – 60 years of adventure with four kids, eight grandchildren and lifelong friends.
After they graduated and married, Bob went to work for D.A. Davidson and Co. while Beverly taught Honors English at Hellgate High School. They moved to Kalispell in 1974, when Bob was promoted to manage the Kalispell branch of D.A. Davidson and Co. While Bob was busy at the office, Beverly was always volunteering in the community. She ran her own business for a period of time and hauled kids around. They never missed one of the kids' sporting events or recitals! We are fairly certain their track record is almost as perfect with all of the grandchildren’s events! Upon retirement from D.A. Davidson and Co, they moved to the Braig family farm in Whitefish where Bob and Brother Jake grew up. They split their time between the farm and Palm Desert, California.
Their family wish them an incredibly happy anniversary and are grateful they jumped in with both feet 60 years ago! Let us flood their phones and email with calls and messages!
