Both the Whitefish girls and boys golf teams fared well at the two-day Kalispell Invite Sept. 18-19 among one of the toughest fields of competition they’ve faced as they head into divisional play this week.

The Whitefish girls nearly came out on top with a second-place two-day finish of 717 (361-356), just behind Glacier’s 713 (341-372). Stella Jaffe shot a powerful 166 total with 83 each day to take fourth place. Karlee Brown was close behind in sixth with 82-88 — 170.
