Join for the Flathead Valley Walk to End Alzheimer’s
Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's is the world's largest fundraiser for Alzheimer's care, support and research. This inspiring event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to join the fight against the disease.
Why do we walk? Every day, you hear about the growing epidemic of Alzheimer’s and related dementia that is destroying our families, our finances, and our future. Nearly seven million Americans are living with Alzheimer's. One in three seniors dies with Alzheimer's or another dementia. In 2024, Alzheimer's and other dementias will cost the United States $360 billion.
The 2024 Flathead Valley, Montana, Walk to End Alzheimer's is on Saturday, Sept. 28. Registration starts at 10:00 a.m. Opening & Promise Garden Ceremonies are at 11:00 a.m. with the walk to follow. The event is at Lawrence Park, 1105 North Main St. In Kalispell. Create a team of friends, family, or co-workers and register in advance of the Walk online by typing into your browser: https://www.alz.org/ and find our Walk.
While there is no fee to register for the Walk, all participants are encouraged to raise critical funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association to provide 24/7 care and support and advance research toward methods of prevention, treatment, and, ultimately, a cure. We cannot end Alzheimer’s without your help.
