Mystery-comedy film premieres in Whitefish

Local filmmaker and internationally renowned cinematographer, Kier Atherton, is presenting his sophomore feature film, “Out to Pasture,” for its Montana premiere at the Whitefish Performing Arts Center, Sunday, Sept. 15, at 7:30 p.m.  Tickets will be available at the door, which opens at 7 p.m.  

The cast includes: Rob Quist, who makes his film debut as the local sheriff of the fictional town, Grave River,  Annemarie Jones, a Montana born and raised actress and comedian, now based in New York City, Mikey Winn, an actor, singer, and writer based out of Northwestern Montana, and Mike Eldred, one of North America’s most in-demand and beloved tenors. 

“Out to Pasture” premiered in Paris this August at La Maison des Auteurs.  Whitefish’s theatrical screening is the first before the film is widely released.  There will be a question-and-answer session with the cast and crew following the screening.
