Whitefish's Douglas finishes strong at Libby Invite

Whitefish Senior Douglas placed 11th at the Libby Cross Country Invitational on Friday, Aug. 30.

Douglas posted a time of 16:47.64. His teammate Ethan Amick was 26th with a time of 17:20.69.

The meet largely consisted of bigger schools from Montana and Idaho. Glacier won the meet for the girls with a score of 56. Flathead won the boys’ team scoring while Glacier was second.

The Whitefish girls were led by senior Charlotte Wallace who finished 21st in the race (21:33.29), while sophomore Sierra Gibb was 36th with a time of 22:33.25.

Kellie Klepper posted a time of 23:10.48 to place 47th as a senior.
