Police Calls: Driver reckless, not drunk

Oct. 8 

A rental car customer returned a vehicle a week late and refused to pay for it. 

A male wearing shorts with pants underneath was seen urinating in front of a building on Central Avenue. 

Oct. 9 

Contractors were reportedly parking in the alley between Washington Ave. And Idaho Ave. 

A dark colored pick up truck was seen driving down Baker Avenue with a gas pump hose sticking out of the vehicle. 

Someone urinated in front of an office window on Central Avenue. 

A gray pit bull mix was found, brought to the police department and reunited with her family. 

Police made contact with a driver who was reckless and potentially drunk but the driver had not been drinking. 

Oct. 10 

An alarm was going off at a location on Second Street but it was due to keypad issues. 

A suspicious backpack near a dumpster was picked up. 

There is an ongoing issue with a Hyundai parking on an alley between Central Avenue and Baker Avenue. 

A caller said two grey and white speckled dogs were following him on Second Street and trying to bite him. He said they would get away from him. 

A very friendly black dog with a white nose was running around Lacy Lane. 

Footage of a reckless driver was sent to police for review. 

Oct. 11 

A white Nissan and a grey Honda experienced an injury-free accident on Spokane Avenue. 

A female was in a sleeping bag on the sidewalk near Reservoir Road. 

The caller heard a suspicious fire alarm ring for 20 minutes near Park Avenue. 

An online complaint said it was illegal for people to ride e-bikes on East Lakeshore Drive. 

A bicycle was reported stolen from Shiloh Avenue. 

Two disorderly males were trying to fight other people at a location on Central Avenue. They were kicked out and began kicking and smashing trash cans. 

Music, screaming and yelling spurred someone to report a noise disturbance on Colorado Avenue.
