Police Calls: Anger management major issue

Sept. 17

The caller had concerns about someone parking a work truck on Vista Drive in front of someone else’s property. They also complained that the subject’s dog is sometimes off leash in the street. Police advised the caller the parking is an HOA matter and that they should call back when the dog is out. 

A large tree fell across the road on Lion Mountain Drive. 

Someone is reportedly damaging signs at a location on Edgewood Place. 

The caller wanted to make sure the people shooting guns near Highway 93 were doing so in a safe manner. 

One party with a Chevy left a business card on a white Ford after an injury-free accident on Central Avenue. 

A minor crash occurred at a location on Highway 40. Information was shared and there were no injuries. 

A lost German Shepherd/golden retriever mix was reported. 

On Colorado Avenue, someone locked their keys and their dog in the vehicle. The dog was not in distress and the vehicle was eventually unlocked. 

Oct. 1

A young male with long curly hair became angry when the caller turned too slowly on Spokane Avenue and yelled out the window, honked his horn and flipped off the caller. Then, the angry man in a Honda Accord followed the caller. 

The reckless driver of a grey Jeep was reported for nearly hitting two pedestrians on Baker Avenue. 

A barefoot female with a next tattoo was walking down the middle of Wisconsin Avenue. 

Oct. 2

Another male “got all mad” after being told to please stay off the newly paved road on First Street. He drove over the curb and nearly hit workers and equipment. 

A female protester on Second Street was walking into traffic. 

The driver of a Toyota Rav4 was seen swerving back and forth on Highway 40 and nearly going into the ditch. The caller believed the driver was drunk.
