| October 9, 2024 1:00 AM

London’s three-time Olivier Award Winning actor and recent Broadway star David Bedella will perform “On the Stage” with New York City’s favorite pianist, singer, and grammy-winning composer, Billy Stritch, on Oct. 11, at 7:30 p.m. at the Whitefish Performing Arts Center, Atkinson Hall.

Earlier this year, David Bedella starred on Broadway in “& Juliet” in the role of Lance duBois, a role he created in the original West End production, for which he received his third Lawrence Olivier Award. He earned the first two for his performances in “Jerry Springer The Opera” and “In The Heights.” Bedella has been featured in many films and television series including “Sexy Beast” on Paramount+, “Batman Begins” on Warner Bros., and “All the Old Knives” and “Jack Ryan” on Amazon.

Pianist-singer Billy Stritch has been a presence on the New York and national nightclub scene for nearly four decades. He is perhaps best known for his 25-year position as musical director and pianist for Liza Minelli. Stritch has also toured with Tony Bennett, Christine Ebersole, Linda Eder, Melissa Manchester, Linda Lavin and many other top singers. His composition “Does He Love You” won the Grammy award in 1993 and was recorded 30 years later by Reba McEntire and Dolly Parton, garnering another Grammy nomination in 2023.
