Sept. 10

A caller heard one gunshot on Whitefish Avenue.

After police woke a man in a vehicle parked on Iowa Avenue to check on him, the man said he was fine and didn’t know why they had to wake him.

A female was reportedly harassing another woman in a parking lot due to a road rage incident.

Two E-bikes were reported stolen from a location on Highway 93.

The caller said someone took signs out of his yard on Second Street.

A hit and run accident on Highway 93 involved a dump truck, road rage and a broken side mirror.

People who were being loud at a park were warned about the noise and told of the park hours. They were also cited for open container.

Four people were in the pool at a location on Wisconsin Avenue. The caller was informed that police do not enforce HOA or private agreements regarding the pool.

Two or three males were in a parking lot on Woodland Park Drive possibly hitting the windows and walls of the building. The manager would look at camera footage and decide what actions to take.

Sept. 11

Two callers complained about blood on the sidewalk on Central Avenue.

It appeared that someone tried to steal a lock box at a business on Highway 93.

The caller said the driver of a small, tan vehicle was driving on her bumper and cursing after screaming at her and swerving over to get behind her.

A disgruntled caller was cursing and complaining it was the second night in a row that people were in the parking lot on Wisconsin Avenue making a lot of noise.

Reportedly, the neighbor on Ashar Avenue was playing music that wasn’t loud, but the subwoofer caused the caller’s bed and pillow to vibrate.

Sept 12

It was suspicious that a Polson Airport courtesy shuttle was parked in the Amtrack long-term parking lot for several days.

A green Tahoe was seen driving all over the road on Highway 93.

An unoccupied red Jeep was parked on Central Avenue, running with music blaring and the wipers on for over an hour.

A driver in a tan car was seen tailgating and weaving on Highway 93.

The caller who saw a woman with two men in a business on Second Street believed the woman looked unhappy and might be the victim of human trafficking. Police spoke to a waitress at the location who is familiar with the people in question, knows the woman has been dating one of the males for a while and there was no trafficking occurring.

It was thought the man in the maroon GMC who was driving slowly and blaring his horn might have been intoxicated.

A black bear was digging in the garbage on Seventh Street.
