Police Calls: Screaming customer bad for business

Oct. 12 

The caller reporting a reckless driver on Highway 93 was quick to hang up before he was pulled over for talking on the phone while driving. 

A white female was shouting at and harassing people going into church on Baker Avenue. 

Oct. 13 

A female protesting at the church on Baker Avenue was trespassed from the church property. She remained on the sidewalk, within the law. 

A white van was seen speeding and jumping speed bumps on Big Mountain Road. The reckless driver also cursed obscenities at the caller and nearly hit him. 

A Honda and a Chevy had a non-injury accident on Highway 93.  

Oct. 14

Reportedly, there was a bear in the garbage at the church on Lamb Lane. 

The driver of a small grey Toyota was seen cutting people off, passing on the shoulder and speeding on Highway 40. 

Fictitious plates were seized. 

The accidental 911 call happened when the caller was trying to shut the phone off. 

A noise complaint from State Park Road involved a broken-down paving truck that sounded like they were “unloading and loading large items.” 

Oct. 15 

A transient male was shouting at a business owner on Eighth Street. 

Two Fords had an accident without injuries on Park Avenue. 

The neighbors on Fourth Street had some disorderly, drinking friends over who yelled at the caller and were noisy. 

An ongoing issue on Dakota Avenue involves a neighbor failing to keep his dog on his property. The dog goes into the caller’s yard and chases deer. 

A customer at a location on Spokane Avenue was very intoxicated and was yelling at the staff and other customers. 

The driver of a smaller Suburban was seen swerving all over Highway 40 and was thought to be drunk.
