Whitefish squares up podium trips at triangular

Both the Whitefish boys and girls track team took second at the Mike Nicosia Cat/Dog/Viking Triangular on Tuesday, April 30.

For the girls, Brooke Zetooney took first in the 100-meter run (12.52), the 400 (57.64), and the shot put (36-4). 

Also, in the 100-meter run, Rachael Wilmot was second (12.81), and Anna Boysen was third (13.61). In the 200-meter run, Anna Boysen was first (27.97), and Mila Maddock was third (29.44). 

In the 400-meter run, Wilmot was second (59.69), Hailey Ells was third (1:01.79), Kellie Klepper was fifth and Sierra Gibb was sixth. 

Olga Abramchuk was third in the 100-meter hurdles (19.87), while Drew Steele was third in the shot put (33-0.5). In the high jump, Nayvee Miller was second (4-6) and Nola Brown was fifth. 

Norah Schmidt won the pole vault with a mark of 8-6, while Nayvee Miller was fifth (7-6). Nola Brown was also fourth in the triple jump (28-8).

On the boys side, Carson Krack won the 400-meter run (50.67), Elijah Adams-Griffin won the long jump (19-9). In the relays, Whitefish won the 4x400 (3:48.78) and the 4x800 relay (9:08.55). The Bulldogs also placed second in the 4x100 (44.49). The Whitefish B team was fourth in the 4x100 and fourth in the 4x800. 

In the 100-meter run, Ryder Barinowski was third (11.64) and Riley Zetooney was fourth (11.66). In the 200-meter run, Christian Schwaderer was third in the 200-meter run (23.85) and Scott Dalen was fifth (24.58). Schwaderer was fourth in the triple jump (37-1)

Avery Sorensen was second in the 400-meter run (1:01.59). Carson Gulick was second in the 110-meter hurdles (16.53) and Morgan Kyle was third (17.08). In the 300-meter hurdles, Avery Stolte was second (42.77). 

In field events, Anderson Barrile was third in the shot put (37-11.75), while Wyatt Akey was second in the discus (121-5) and fourth in the javelin (116-7). 

In the pole vault, Carson Gulick was third (5-6) and Cooper Akey was fourth (5-6). 

Whitefish Top Class A Finisher At Archie Roe Invite

The Whitefish boys placed third at the Archie Roe Invite on Saturday, May 4 in Kalispell and was the highest finishing A school at the meet.  The Whitefish girls were fourth, also the highest finish by a Class A school. 

Carson Krack won the 300-meter hurdles (39.54), while also placing second in the high jump (6-2) and third in the 110-meter hurdles (15.07). Simon Douglas was first in the 800-meter run (1:56.83) and second in the 1,600-meter run (4:27.11). 

Ethan Amick was fourth in the 400-meter run (52.14), and Christian Schwaderer was second in the long jump (20-8.75). Elijah Adams-Griffin was third (20-7.25). 

On the girls side, Brooke Zetooney won both the 100 (12.33) and 200-meter run (24.90). Rachael Wilmot was second in the 100 (12.44) and the 200 (25.23). 

Whitefish placed first in the 4x100 relay (48.81) and second in the 4x400 relay (4:08.34). 

Bailey Smith was fifth in the javelin (108-10).
