Duplex subdivision planned off Lake Park Lane

A developer is proposing a 9-lot subdivision on about 2.3 acres off Lake Park Lane in Whitefish.
Nine duplex structures are planned for the property that is zoned at WR-2.
A preliminary plat of the Salmon Run subdivision shows lots of 0.168 acres in size south of Lake Park Lane and west of a proposed extension of Salmon Run to the north. Salmon Run connects with Haugen Heights on the south end.
A new road would dissect the subdivision, which would include curb, gutter and sidewalks.
Russ Helgeson of Lake Park Lane, LLC is listed as the developer.
The proposal is set to go before the City Council on April 1.
City planning staff is also reviewing an administrative plat application for a two-lot subdivision at 241 W. 3rd Street for a duplex. The property is zoned WR-2.
