Cheryl Ann Stocking Chorba, 80

Cheryl passed away peacefully on Aug. 2, 2023 in Olympia, Wash. She was born on May 26, 1943 to Herbert and Marguerite Stocking in Seattle.

After her birth, the family moved to Whitefish, where she grew up. She attended school in Whitefish and graduated from Whitefish High School. 

After graduation she moved to Aberdeen, Wash., and attended Grays Community College. She met her first husband, John Frost, in Aberdeen and had two sons. 

Cheryl worked for and retired from the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services. She enjoyed bowling, golfing, fishing, casino visits and most of all, her time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her beloved dog Buddy. 

She is survived by her brother Bud (Marnie) Stocking; her two sons Steve (Gretchen) Frost and Mike (Debbie) Frost; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
