Glacier Twins sweep Mariners, topple Loggers
Glacier A Twins swept the Mission Valley A Mariners in Whitefish by identical scores of 6-4 on Thursday, June 6, in American Legion Baseball action.
In the first game, Mission Valley trailed 1-0 in the top of the sixth before rallying for four runs. Glacier, however, responded with five runs in the bottom of the frame of the victory.
Kellen Kroger pitched the first four innings for the Twins, striking out seven. Michael Miller pitched the final three innings, allowing just one hit.
Stevyn Andrachick, Miller, Maddox Muller, and Trenton Derosa each drove in runs for Glacier. The Twins finished with five hits, while Mission Valley committed six errors in the game.
In the second game, Mission Valley led 4-0 through three innings before Glacier scored a run in the fourth and five more in the sixth. Glacier finished with 11 hits.
Jake McIntyre had a double, while Maddox Muller, Stevyn Andrahick, Kellen Kroger each drove in runs. Michael Miller went 2-for-4 in the matchup and drove in two runs, while Muller and Kroger also finished with two hits.
Glacier improved to 3-1 on the season with these two victories.

Twins Topple Libby
The Glacier A Twins scored nine runs in the fourth en route to a 16-2 American Legion Baseball victory over Libby on Monday, July 10.
Nolan Amerman hit a home run and finished with two RBI, while Matthew Mitts had a double and triple to go along with an RBI.
Glacier finished with 12 hits as a team, while Mitts started the game on the mound, pitching two innings and striking out three. Dawson Juntunen finished the final three innings, allowing zero hits and striking out one.
Michael Miller had a triple and an RBI, while Stevyn Andrachick, Kellen Kroger, and Trenton Derosa each drove in two runs.
Libby committed five errors in the game, while Glacier played flawless defense.
Glacier improved its record on the season to 4-1.
