July 4

The person who called 911 accidentally was trying to figure out how to shut off the phone.

Someone lost a black leather wallet, possibly near the Skyles trailhead.

A dark green pickup truck was seen speeding and swerving all over the road on Highway 93.

The brown Labrador who was running around City Beach was taken to the kennel and returned to the owner.

Someone was shooting off fireworks over the buildings on Locarno Drive and the caller believed some of them were landing on the roof.

There were threats and retaliation centering around fireworks on Barkley Lane.

Reportedly, females threatened to pull a gun on a man for lighting fireworks in the street.

A border collie was lost from Colorado Avenue at 11 p.m.

A lady left a location on Highway 93 without paying for the armload of goods she had when she took off in a dark colored Subaru.

Someone turned in a wallet.

The caller said there were fireworks going off in the city at 1:30 a.m.

Three males were urinating in public on Central Avenue.

A black phone with two $100 bills was found in the women’s bathroom.

Two males and two seadoos were taking part in some reckless boating.

A blue bike was found on Miles Avenue.

There was concern for the well being of a whimpering dog in a hot Chevy Trailblazer.

The accidental dialer of 911 was trying to tune off Google maps.

Fireworks were going off in the area of Aspen Grove Street.

The caller on Kalispell Avenue reported hearing fireworks going off.

July 6

A male who did not appear to be distressed was yelling on Fourth Street.

A pontoon boat trailer was blocking the sidewalk on Sawtooth Drive.

Several deer were struck by vehicles throughout the morning and some needed to be dispatched by police.

There was concern for a large brown dog tied up for hours in the heat while the owners smoked cigarettes on the beach.

July 11

Neighbors on Lupfer Avenue said the recreational fire from last night has relit in the fire pit. They saw sparks but no flames.

A dead fawn was removed from the road on Lakeshore Drive.

While walking her dog, a woman accidentally dialed 911.

Someone on Flathead Avenue was given a warning for no blinker and no insurance. The driver’s insurance company was having technical difficulties.

Two patio chairs were reported stolen from Boulders Road.

While getting her nails done, a woman accidentally dialed 911.

An older white dog who appeared to be injured and abandoned was seen at a park.

A small brown dog with a red collar was reported missing. It was thought the dog jumped out of the owner’s truck while at a location on Highway 93.

The driver of a blue, Honda-type SUV ran a stop sign and hit the curb after driving at varying speeds on Baker Avenue.

There was a hit and run accident reported at a parking lot on Highway 93.

The driver of a new dark gray Toyota Rav4 was reported after nearly colliding with another vehicle on Geddes Avenue. He also was apparently swerving all over and almost drove off the road.

The owner of the car that was hit in the parking lot on Spokane Avenue saw another driver hit his vehicle, park and walk away. 

A no trespassing sign was ripped off a tree and political signs were stolen from a yard on Second Street. The reporting party said they would be putting up cameras.

Two large, heavily panting dogs were left in a Hyundai Santa Fe in the full sun.

A camper with a propane tank on the back was parked on Skyles Place, halfway in a driveway and halfway in the street, making it difficult for vehicles to pass.

There was a report of a female on drugs in the parking lot on Fourth Street. She was soon on her way.

A silver Toyota truck was seen swerving all over the road and barely stopping at the red light on Highway 93.

A man who found the doors to a location on Highway 93 locked, proceeded to shake the doors so much, the doors unlocked.
