Police Calls: Protesters infringing on private property

June 17

There were many abandoned vehicles at a location on Highway 93.

A small terrier was running around without an owner or a collar.

The caller said a dangerous deer came up behind him. He reported it to Fish and Game and wants to report it to everyone.

Reportedly, there is an ongoing issue with speeders on Geddes Avenue.

The caller wanted the protesters of the abortion clinic who were all over private property to be removed from his private property on Eighth Street.

It was believed the driver of a Subaru was falling asleep at the wheel on JP Road.

The property owner who had trouble with abortion protesters called back and said since law enforcement drove by and didn’t tell them to leave, he will figure out other ways to keep them off his property.

A vehicle hit a lamp pole on Seventh Street and drove away.

There was a party with a bonfire and loud noise near Wisconsin Avenue that warranted a noise complaint.

June 18

A male transient was seen sleeping under the viaduct.

Someone was locked out of her vehicle but got in somehow.

Packages were piling up at a residence on Blackberry Loop. The landlord will collect them.

A tree broke and landed on the caller’s fence on Pine Avenue.

The caller thought that the man who rang the doorbell at a home on Seventh Street said he was looking for a house to rent was suspicious.

Someone saw a white Ford pickup truck swerving and crossing into oncoming traffic.

A male, who was fine, was lying by the side of the road, near a speed limit sign on Greenwood Drive.

A small black ear was reported at a location on 13th Street, not doing anything – just walking around.

June 19

Two individuals were camping under the viaduct.

A pedestrian reported nearly being hit by a black Honda on Highway 93.

Several tenants of a building on State Park Road told the property manager they’d seen a baby grizzly bear and they are worried about a mom grizzly.

A truck was parked on Central Avenue for nearly an hour with a barking dog and possibly more animals in the back. The caller was concerned about their wellbeing.

A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle while she was in a crosswalk on Central Avenue.

A party on Barkley Lane featured beer pong, loud music and screaming. The noise makers said they would keep it down.

Someone was cited for urinating in public on Central Avenue.
