Big Mountain Ranch in Whitefish hosts the annual Under the Big Sky music festival July 12-14.

Thousands of concertgoers are expected to turnout for a lineup that includes country music star Miranda Lambert, bluegrass musician Billy Strings and Americana roots act the Turnpike Troubadours.

Flathead-based acts like Archertown, Badger Hound, Tomara, Miller Campbell, Denim Gold; along with Bozeman-based artists like Abby Webster and Madeline Hawthorne; and Missoula’s favorite sweethearts, The Lil Smokies, will also take the stage at the festival.

The festival opens Friday at 3 p.m. and ends at 11 p.m. The event continues Saturday and Sunday from noon to 11 p.m.

Free shuttles will run throughout the festival from Big Mountain, downtown Whitefish and Columbia Falls. Shuttles start at 2 p.m. Friday, and at 11 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

On site parking is complimentary for ticket holders. Overnight parking and camping is prohibited. RVs must be under 35 feet including attachments.

This is the fifth year of the festival hosted by Outriders Present productions.
