Thank you for making Whitefish Woody Weekend XII a huge success
Thank you, Flathead Valley, for helping make Whitefish Woody Weekend XII a huge success. It was a great show with 45 beautiful classic boats from all over the Pacific Northwest, California and Hawaii, 12 of which were new to Whitefish Woody Weekend. These boats represented 18 different manufacturers and 5 different chapters of the Antique and Classic Boat Society. Twenty-eight of the 45 participants came to the show from outside the Flathead Valley.
On behalf of all the boat captains, thank you to the over 1200 dock-walkers who enjoyed the great weather and came out and supported the event on Saturday. It means a lot to the boat owners to see the tremendous turnout.
The People's Choice was awarded to Empress, a 1992 Hacker Craft Runabout owned by Shawn and Christina Isakson of Whitefish. The Captain's Choice Award, voted on by the boat owners, went to Oro-Y-Plata, a 1930 Chris-Craft Runabout, owned by Ken Cook of Polson. The Commodore's Award was given to Tom Carlin of Woodinville WA with and his boat, Malibu, 1940 Chris-Craft Custom 19. The Chris Craft Antique Boat Club awarded the Stewardship award to Hobo, a 1928 Chris Craft, Model 3 Triple owned by Dean Sackett of Lakeside.
Finally, we would like to thank The Lodge at Whitefish Lake and their wonderful staff for being great hosts of the event. The Lodge treated the boat owners to that great Whitefish hospitality and once again demonstrated their commitment to community events.
Hope to see you all again at next year's event on June 27-29, 2025, for Whitefish Woody Weekend XIII.
