Whitefish Winter Carnival treasure found
The annual Whitefish Winter Carnival Treasure Hunt is over.
Whitefish residents Meghan Schultz said her son Jackson Dicello found the Winter Carnival treasure on Wednesday morning at the Smith Fields Sports Complex playground beneath the stairs.
Jackson and his family won the treasure hunt last year, as well.
The hidden treasure is a small rock look-alike, and it is hidden each winter within the Realm, aka around Whitefish.
The prize money is $750 thanks to the generosity of the donors. Eric Schmidt of First Interstate Bank, Doug Reed of Whitefish Lake Restaurant and Shane Moss of Glacier Bank have donated a total of $750 in prize money to be awarded to the lucky winner who finds the treasure.
Here was Clue No. 3:
Juggle your schedules, sit down in your seats
Check out the vendors with candy and treats!
Watch the brave climb ropes and swing high in the sky
Walk a tight rope and see balls on the fly.
Don’t step out of line, keep your eyes on the goal
Finding the treasure will be good for the soul!
