NO. 2737 CITY OF WHITEFISH, MONTANA REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS AMBULANCE AND FIRE RESCUE BILLING RATE STUDY The City of Whitefish, Montana, is seeking proposals from experienced, qualified firms to conduct a comprehensive study of our Ambulance and Fire Rescue billing rates. The billing rate study will include a thorough analysis of the market research, cost-of-service, and revenue optimization along with actionable recommendations and implementation strategies. Closing Date and Address: Interested parties shall submit three (3) hard copies of the proposal and one (1) digital copy to Fire Chief Cole Hadley, City of Whitefish, 418 E. 2nd Street, Whitefish, Montana 59937 no later than 4:00 PM local time on the 12th day of February 2024. Proposals shall be delivered in a sealed envelope marked “Ambulance and Fire Rescue Billing Rate Study.” Faxed proposals will not be considered. NO. 2738 WHITEFISH SCHOOL DISTRICT PUBLIC NOTICE At a regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of School District No.44, Flathead County, Montana, held January 9, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. in the Whitefish School District Board Room, the following resolution was introduced: WHEREAS, the Trustees of School District No.44, Flathead County, Montana, have made a determination that as a result of the unanticipated enrollment increase, the district’s budget for the High School General Fund does not provide sufficient financing to properly maintain and support the district for the entire current school fiscal year; and WHEREAS, the Trustees have determined that an amendment to the High School General Fund budget in the amount of $188,160.00 (One Hundred Eighty Eight Thousand One Hundred and Sixty dollars) is necessary under the provision of Section 20-9-166, MCA and 2023 HB 36 for the purpose of addressing the educational functions of the district. WHEREAS, the anticipated source of financing the budget amendment expenditures shall be additional Direct State Aid. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Trustees of School District No.44, Flathead County, Montana, proclaims a need for an amendment to the High School General Fund budget in the amount of $188,160.00 (One Hundred Eighty Eight Thousand One Hundred and Sixty dollars) for Fiscal Year 2024 under Section 20-9-166, MCA and 2023 HB 36, for the purpose identified above, and; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of Trustees of School District No.44, Flathead County, Montana, will meet at 6:00 p.m. in the Whitefish School District Board Room on February 13, 2024 for the purpose of considering and adopting the budget amendment.
