Timothy Quinn, 76

Timothy Paul Quinn, 76, of Whitefish, Montana, passed away on Jan. 3, 2024. He was born on Sept. 10, 1947, in Red Bluff, California, to the late Zita (Derra) Quinn and William Quinn III. Timothy was preceded in death by his parents, as well as William Quinn, brother; Michaelene Glendening, sister; Mary Goodin, sister; Frank Quinn, brother; Jeff Quinn, brother; Steven Quinn, brother; Thomas Quinn, brother; Joseph Quinn, brother; Patrick Quinn, brother; James J Powers (Quinn), son, and James Mathew Powers, grandson.

Timothy was a talented individual who had a passion for working with wood, drafting and architectural design. He also enjoyed working on his truck and was skilled in various home renovations, including electrical, drywall and plumbing. Timothy's love for printing led him to work at the San Juan Water District and the college in Eureka, California, where he operated a Heidelberg printing press and printed numerous books and materials for the college.

In his free time, Timothy loved playing Scrabble and various card games. He also enjoyed traveling and had memorable experiences such as fishing in Alaska, parasailing in Acapulco, and visiting family and friends across the country. Timothy's adventurous spirit and love for life will be dearly missed.

Timothy is survived by his brother Mark Quinn of California, his son John Powers and daughter Maryam Powers of California, along with granddaughters Sharon Elea and Arielle. He is also survived by his daughter Sherri Tripp, her husband James, and their children Caitlin Schibig, Aaron Schibig, Tyler Schibig, Emily Powers-Tripp, John Tripp, and Sarah Tripp. Additionally, Timothy leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins who will cherish his memory.

A funeral service will be held in honor of Timothy on Friday, Jan. 19, 2024, at 11 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, located at 230 Baker Avenue, Whitefish, MT 59937. The Austin Funeral Home in Whitefish, Montana, is assisting with the arrangements.

Timothy's warm personality, loving nature, and exceptional skills will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. May he rest in peace.
