Police Calls: A rash of car invasions

Dec. 13

  • The owner of the white Subaru that was parked in the alley and blocking the business trash cans was contacted and would move her vehicle.


  • Other drivers had to pull over on Karrow Avenue when a white Jeep Cherokee was swerving all over the road.


  • A male in a white truck that was parked in a parking lot on Highway 93 was making the caller nervous, as he was sitting there all night. 


  • The owner of a Jeep Gladiator locked himself out of the vehicle.


Dec. 14

  • Someone on Colorado Avenue reported that the snowmobile and trailer he had just purchased from his boss was stolen from the parking lot.


  • Someone stole a leash from a business on Central Avenue.


  • There was some disorderly behavior on the road as a vehicle cut off the caller, then flipped him off at a stop sign. The rude driver then swerved into the caller’s lane on Highway 93.


  • The owner of an old Ford Explorer that was parked in the crosswalk on Second Street said she will move the vehicle.


  • A caller on Fourth Street said he was hearing screaming and someone yelling, “fire.” When investigated, everything appeared to be fine.


  • A Mercedes with a California plate and a female driver was reported for speeding on Second Street.


  • Lots of suspicious vehicles have been recently seen driving around O’Brien Avenue and the caller requested extra patrol in the area.


Dec. 15

  • A gray GMC pickup has been parked on Voyager Drive for a couple weeks and the caller would like it to be moved.


  • A black truck was parked on First Street facing the wrong way. It was moved.


  • A male wearing a black hoodie and a black skiing buff was reported for staring a woman down in a store and saying weird things to her.


Dec. 16

  • A vehicle was broken into on Fox Farm Drive. The thief took a wallet and a couple of knives but left a gun behind.


  • A loaded gun was reported as stolen from a vehicle on Kalispell Avenue.


  • Another vehicle was violated on Kalispell Avenue overnight. A wallet was stolen.


  • Someone stole knives out of a vehicle on Columbia Avenue. The caller said it was weird because there were a bunch of other high value items in the vehicle but they only took the knives.


  • Another vehicle was broken into on Park Avenue. Some cash and a passport were taken.


  • A black and white pitbull mix was running around near Monterra Avenue. The caller said he would stay in the club house until the dog was captured.


  • The caller reported that his vehicle on Park Avenue was rifled through last night.


Dec. 17

  • Someone went through a vehicle on Park Avenue. The owner is now missing a couple pairs of sunglasses and a nice pocket knife.


  • Kids were wrestling around and playing on Colorado Avenue.


Dec. 18

  • There was a fender bender in the parking lot of a business on Highway 93.


  • A black truck with Texas plates was reported for swerving and being unable to maintain speeds on 13th Street.


  • A suspicious male was flashing a badge at a group of people leaving a hotel on Highway 93. An employee would like the man removed.


Dec. 19

  • There was a hit and run accident in a parking lot on Baker Avenue.


  • A vehicle that appeared to be a Jeep was seen driving north in the southbound lane of Highway 93.
