Police Calls: Friend, not thief moved car

Dec. 9

Someone reported losing a diamond ring. 

The caller reported losing his wallet at a location on Highway 93 with bank cards, ID and $300 cash. 

People were all over the road when a vehicle became disabled in the middle of the road on Ninth Street. 

Dec. 10 

A black Lexus and a red Jeep had a non-injury accident on Highway 93. 

A customer at a business on Highway 93 was rambling several complaints about the manager there. 

Dec. 11

A male punched the caller’s vehicle at a location on Highway 93. Later the man pulled up next to the caller and pointed a gun at him. 

The driver of a vehicle that was reportedly blocking a driveway on Eighth Street said he was not blocking anyone’s driveway but the situation was eventually rectified. 

The caller didn’t know if his car had been towed or stolen when he couldn’t find it in the parking lot. It had a full tank of gas and two firearms inside. His buddy had re-parked the vehicle and it was located in an alley. 

A neighbor on Ashar Avenue reportedly came over to the caller’s door, tried the doorknob and yelled at him to keep the stereo down. 

Dec. 12

A smaller, white husky female was reported lost on Eighth Street. 

No flames were seen but the caller saw smoke and smelled what seemed like an electrical fire on Lakeshore Drive.
