Dorvall places third at Flathead Invite

Whitefish's Taylor Dorvall placed third at the Flathead Girls Invitational in Kalispell on Dec. 13-14, notching four pins along the way in the 130-pound bracket.

Dorvall had a first-round bye and then picked up a second-round victory over Polson's Skyla Nielsen via fall. In the quarterfinals, Dorvall pinned Cut Bank's Olivia Bradley in 1:11.

Dorvall did fall in the semifinals but bounced back in the consolation semifinals with a pin over Billings Skyview's Haven Meyer. In the third-place match, she pinned Mission's Amelia Cronk in 2:57.
