Whitefish Christian Academy boys basketball rural league champs

The Whitefish Christian Academy seventh and eighth grade boys basketball team won the recent Flathead Valley Rural League championship. The championship tournament for seventh and eighth grade teams took place at Cayuse Prairie School and Swan River School during the week of Dec. 2, with the final game on Dec. 5.  

Until this win, fourth place was the best a Whitefish Christian Academy team had placed and had never won the Flathead Valley Rural League Championship in this grade division. The Lions finished the season 12-1, the best record in the school's history.
