Equip Whitefish High School graduates by voting yes on bonds
We believe the vibrancy and prosperity of a community is highly dependent on the quality of its education. The current Whitefish High School is a great facility with many resources and a dedicated faculty, but it is already bursting at the seams. It was built for 600 students and enrollment last year was already approximately 635. The number of students coming out of the middle school each year is larger than ever, and the student population is expected to grow over 2% annually in the coming years.
As a community, we want to equip graduates of Whitefish High School with the skills and knowledge they need to tackle the challenges of the 21st century. For our students, teachers, and school administrators, this will be an easier task with the additional classrooms, lab space, and safety features that the high school expansion will provide. The improvements to the Independent High School, addition of more science, technology, engineering, arts, and math resources, and expansion of the career and technical education at WHS will make sure that we can fully provide for the education of every student, whatever career they pursue after graduation.
Whitefish is an amazing community that cares deeply for its youngest members — let’s show how true this is by voting “Yes” on the upcoming school bond on September 17.
