Donna McGough, 77
Donna Jane McGough, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully in her sleep on her 77th birthday at her home in Kalispell. Her final moments were spent surrounded by the love of family and friends, reflecting a life well-lived.
Donna was deeply devoted to her husband, Sam McGough, with whom she shared a remarkable 59 years of marriage before his passing. Their enduring love and partnership were the foundation of a beautiful life together, and Donna now finds solace in being reunited with her soulmate.
Together, Donna and Sam raised three daughters and were blessed with six grandchildren, with a great-grandson on the way. Their legacy continues through their growing family.
In the 1970s, Donna and Sam embarked on a journey of entrepreneurship, starting a jewelry manufacturing business in Mesa, Arizona. They later moved to Whitefish, in 1985, where they established their retail jewelry business, initially named Tomahawk Trading Co. The business evolved into McGough and Co. before their retirement in 2017.
Donna will be remembered for her profound impact on those around her. Her family and friends will miss her deeply. Donna embodied beauty inside and out, with unwavering loyalty to her loved ones, generous spirit, and compassionate heart. Her faithful and adventurous nature, combined with her timeless grace, made her a remarkable person. Donna’s dedication to her family was unwavering, and she was a constant source of support and love as a wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She was a woman of faith and has now joined her Lord and Savior.
Services for Donna Jane McGough will begin at noon on Thursday, Aug. 8, at Easthaven Baptist Church, located at 2010 Whitefish Stage Rd., Kalispell. A viewing will begin at 11 a.m.
