Whitefish Library fall programs
Whitefish Library has a robust offering of programs for the fall, led by patrons with passions: Mindfulness, Fiber Arts, Spanish conversation, and family board games all have a space on the schedule in the Library’s community room.
Serenity Saturday: Mindfulness for Inner Balance has its inaugural session Saturday, September 30th at 3:30 to 4:45 p.m. Silvi Winthrop, a certified mindfulness trainer leads this monthly group.
Fiber Artists of Montana invites the “yarn curious” to join them every Saturday from 1 to 3 pm. Beginners in the fiber arts are welcome to join and learn how to knit or crochet.
Spanish with Friends welcomes all level of Spanish speakers on the last Thursday of each month from 6 to 8 p.m. – Thursday the 28th in September. Led by native speaker Shannon Hoge, there is some instruction included at each meeting.
Game On! is the longest running patron-led group. Families meet bi-weekly on Thursdays from 4 to 6 p.m. to play chess and other board games. Although the group is facilitated by Ellen Rands, chaperones are required – this is not a drop-off program. The next session of Game On! is Thursday, October 26th.
