Whitefish volleyball continues to shine in conference play
Whitefish won in four sets against Ronan, 24-26, 25-8, 25-19, 25-16, on Thursday, Sept. 28. Brooke Zetooney had 12 digs, and Isaebella Hartwig had 22.
“The girls came from behind in game one down 8 points to take momentum into game 2. The Bulldogs worked well together against our only conference loss,” Whitefish Head Coach Addy Connely said. “They came ready to play.”
Ainsley Scott dished out 22 team assists, and Kaydence Blacked dished out 22 assists and had four aces. Myli Ridgeway had 12 digs to lead the defense.
Whitefish improved to 7-2 on the year.
Whitefish got eight kills from Myli Ridgeway and downed Browning 25-14, 25-20, 25-20 in Northwestern A volleyball action on Tuesday, Sept. 26.
“Whitefish won in three behind the strong efforts of Myli Ridgeway,” Connely said. “Myli did a great job of keeping up the tempo and swinging aggressively.”
Ridgeway also had 16 digs, while Maggie Mercer added night, and Hailey Ells had eight. Ainsley Scott dished out 11 assists, while Brooke Zetooney had two aces and four blocks.
After hosting Polson on Tuesday, the Lady Bulldogs will travel to Bigfork on Saturday, October 7, and play will begin around 4:15 p.m.
