Bulldog athlete Brooke Zetooney signs with UM
Whitefish High School champion sprinter and multisport athlete Brooke Zetooney on Monday signed a letter of intent to join the University of Montana track and field team.
Zetooney, a WHS senior, has competed for the Bulldogs in track and field each year of high school.
Last year at the Montana Class A state track and field meet, Zetooney broke a 25-year old state record during the time trials of the 100 meter dash — running a personal record of 12.24. She took the state title in the 100 and 200, while coming in second in the 400 meter race.
She anchored both the long and short relay teams for Whitefish for the last two years and has won the state 100 meter race every year since her freshman season.
She also competes in shot put and has placed in several events. Zetooney also plays volleyball and basketball for the Bulldogs.
