Connect Whitefish Community Block Party
Do you struggle to find parking? Are gas prices getting you down? Want to reduce your carbon footprint and increase your fitness? All of these are great reasons to ditch the car and bike and walk your way to work.
Kick off the spring commuting season by pledging to bike or walk to work on Wednesday, May 24. Bike or walk down to Railway and Central Avenue to learn about basic bike maintenance, bike safety, adaptive recreation, health benefits of human powered transportation, local trails, and bike commuting from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. There will be prize giveaways, e-bike demos and happy hour at Blackstar.
Members of the Pedestrian and Bicycle Advisory Committee will be on hand to chat about current and future bike infrastructure projects. To find shared use paths and routes, visit https://maps.cityofwhitefish.org/portal/apps/sites/#/public.
