May 3

A driver called in worried that someone would call him in for bad driving.

There is concern about vehicles driving extremely fast down Baker Avenue.

A black dog with gray or white markings on his face had been in the police department’s kennel and was returned to his owner.

May 4

A dog running in the area of Colorado Avenue was caught and taken to the police station.

The driver of a truck reported that a group of kids threw a log and hit his truck, resulting in a broken headlight.

A dog described as larger than a St. Bernard was standing in the middle of the road on Scott Avenue. The owner was located.

May 5

A golfer butt dialed 911.

With one blue eye and one brown eye, a large white dog was running loose on Lupfer Avenue.

A white, husky-type dog was found on Central Avenue.

On Park Avenue, a large yellow Labrador was considered to be a bit intimidating, because he was barking and being skittish. The owner was contacted and said they would collect their dog.

Several large boulders in the road on Lakeshore Drive were a traffic hazard. They were the size of basketballs and were concerning due to issues they may cause in the dark.

Someone was shooting off fireworks on Denver Street. The man thought to be the firework user was advised of the city ordinance.

A driver popped a tire in a pothole on Spokane Avenue.

A red Subaru was seen swerving and speeding.

May 7

Southbound cars were going into the northbound lane on Wisconsin Avenue due to a large hole in the roadway. It was marked with cones that had been run over.

A red SUV was seen driving on the wrong side of the road while the driver was looking at their phone.

A husky mix type dog who lies on Park Avenue was waiting in the caller’s yard for the owner to show up and pick up the dog.

An apparently drunk resident of Denver Avenue with a firework stand in his yard was shooting off fireworks.

May 8

A Nissan truck with a Maine license plate was reported as swerving all over the road on Baker Avenue.

A dark brown or black dog was running in the road on Baker Avenue. The caller said the dog appeared to be scared.

A white and tan dog was standing in the middle of the road on Barkley Lane and barking aggressively, so the caller didn’t want to leave her vehicle.

A very skittish black Labrador had been reported wandering around the area on Baker Avenue for a couple days.

A business on Highway 93 caught a male border collie and kept him in their office.

The woman who accidentally dialed 911 was heard to be out of breath because she was running to get out of the rain.

Two bricks in the middle of an intersection on Highway 93 posed a traffic hazard.

A man was counseled on his behavior after he stumbled around on Karrow Avenue and yelled at a woman and her dog.
