The Lady Bulldogs softball team had another tough week on the field, but are keeping their heads high.

Over the last week, Whitefish lost twice to Columbia Falls and also competed at the Frenchtown Invite Friday and Saturday. Though the Bulldogs competed well against Butte Central and Corvallis at the tournament, they could find a win. A highlight against Butte Central was when junior Jude Perry hit a home run.

This is Whitefish’s first year fielding a varsity team in three years.

“The girls are doing great, positive attitudes and effort for every game,” Whitefish coach Dave Bennetts said.

Whitefish was scheduled to play Ronan on Tuesday after press time and then will host Libby on Thursday at Smith Fields, game time at 5 p.m.
