March 11
A bus was stuck at a crossing, blocking the railroad tracks but was removed without incident.
It appeared to the caller that the driver of a dark-colored pick up truck that was driving in the wrong lane on Baker Avenue had passed out in his truck, woke up and proceeded to run into the caller.
A vehicle ran a stoplight on Second Street and hit another vehicle.
A reckless driver who was swerving and unable to maintain his lane pulled into a business on Spokane Avenue.
Someone called to report a vehicle was speeding down the Big Mountain Road and the driver had been seen with beer.
The chocolate lab that was reported as missing, returned on his own shortly after.
March 12
The caller reported a dead deer on a golf course and said it appeared to have been attacked.
A hit and run on Second Street involved a vehicle being hit by a truck pulling a horse trailer.
March 14
A blue Honda appeared to have slid into the road and was later removed.
Someone’s dog was waiting in the Whitefish Police Department’s kennel.
A black Dodge not only parked illegally, but it bumped into the car in front of it. The driver of the Dodge walked away but the vehicles were still touching.
The caller was hoping his Android phone had been found and turned into the authorities.
A bike and bike trailer were reported stolen.
March 17
Someone had been camping in the parking lot of a business on Baker Avenue.
A caller reported seeing a driver who “looked off” heading northbound on Baker Avenue and said he had been swerving a little when he turned on to the highway.
A lost Irish setter without tags was dropped off at the police station and was soon returned to his owner.
A small, blue SUV was swerving between the lines on Highway 93.
A concerned citizen attempted to guide a wary stray dog away from a busy street. The dog appeared to be elderly and partially blind.
Someone was dancing on Baker Avenue.
March 18
Reportedly, a big blue Ford truck was driving really fast and barely keeping it between the guard rails as it drove southbound on Big Mountain Road.
An assistant manager called to say an intoxicated female was walking through the hotel and tried to steal some gift shop items. She was currently sitting out front with her big Louie V. bag.
March 21
The manager of a business on Central Avenue refused delivery of a package because she received a similar package a few months ago that had drugs in it.
Officers observed two females outside with approximately 20 deer. Fresh fruit and vegetables had been thrown out to attract the deer. Both females denied they were responsible for feeding the deer and blamed the neighbors.
A couple who had been drinking were also fighting on Central Avenue. They were counseled to get a ride.
March 22
A caller said someone was letting their pitbull run around very close to the highway.
At a business on Highway 93, Canadian kids were asking people to buy alcohol.
