It's Time to Be Instrumental
"Music can change the world, because it can change people" — Bono
In 1997 Betty Lou Wambeke and Betsy Kohnstamm started what has become North Valley Music School. From its humble beginnings over 25 years ago, the North Valley Music School has served over 12,000 students and given over 345,600 lessons, all in a 2,500-square-foot building built in 1920 as a single-family home.
Today NVMS has over 525 registered students, is a successful business, and is a vibrant contributor to the quality of life in our community. NVMS has outgrown its physical plant. We have spent the better part of the past few years planning and designing a wonderful state-of-the-art facility. The John Kramer family has donated over a million dollars and Project Whitefish Kids and the City of Whitefish have committed the land for the building. Several very generous members of town have helped us grow that dollar amount to over $4 million.
We would like to break ground later this year. Our budget is $6.5 million and we are well on our way. Now is the time for you to be instrumental, to help us raise the final $2.5 million which would include an operational endowment.
This team has planned a great facility and we have over 70 generous donors investing so far to complete this project. Please join us! Go to www.NVMS.me to see why we are so excited!!
