Hadidi places in international student coding competition
Whitefish Middle School seventh grade coding student Holden Hadidi placed 19th out of 35,000 entries worldwide for the first round of Coding Cup. Coding Cup is a soccer-themed coding competition for students from around the world tied to the FIFA World Cup and sponsored by Tynker and BYJU's. Students are able to use their computer coding ability to compete against others.
Also, Hadidi last spring participated in the Montana MathCounts competition. Hadidi qualified for nationals when finished third in a field of 88 competitors at the state competition in Butte.
