NO. 2733 CITY OF WHITEFISH NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at its regular meeting on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at 7:10 PM, in the Whitefish City Council Chambers, located in City Hall, at 418 East Second Street, Whitefish, Montana, the Whitefish City Council will conduct a public hearing and take public comment regarding an application to the Montana Department of Commerce to receive funding under HB 355. The funding is proposed to be used for the replacement of cast iron watermain in the City’s water distribution system. Individuals may appear or submit written testimony at the hearing to comment on the proposed application. NO. 2734 CITY OF WHITEFISH NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at its regular meeting on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at 7:10 PM, in the Whitefish City Council Chambers, located in City Hall, at 418 East Second Street, Whitefish, Montana, the Whitefish City Council will conduct a public hearing and take public comment regarding the adoption of an “Annexation Surcharge”. The surcharge will be applied to requests for connection outside the City limits for constructed dwellings, or dwellings currently under construction, not previously connected to a septic system or private well. Individuals may appear or submit written testimony at the hearing to comment on the proposed “Annexation Surcharge”.
