WCA Lions finish second in Rural League

The Whitefish Christian Academy’s fifth/sixth-grade basketball team recently finished their season in second place in the Flathead Valley Rural League.

The team went into the finals with an undefeated 14-0 record but finished the season 14-1. Over the last two seasons, the Whitefish Christian Academy has a record of 32-2, with first and second-place finishes in the Rural League.

The academy says that while the Lions were disappointed to not finish the season in first, and remain undefeated, the sustained success the program has had is significant from a school their size.

The Flathead Valley Rural League consists of 14 schools from across the valley.
