Financial support to keep Alpine Theatre Project alive

| August 9, 2023 1:00 AM

Our state’s early fathers that tagged Montana as “The Treasure State”, undoubtedly anticipated the founding 20 years ago by three adventurous creative Broadway souls of our local treasure — The Alpine Theatre Project. But we may lose our treasure if we do not unite to help ATP raise $150,000 by Aug. 31. The effects of COVID-19 and also inflation have reduced attendance and donations by patrons, not only locally at ATP but all across the nation. Seems that many just can’t get out of their pajamas and away from Netflix.

Can you imagine no more Broadway Summer productions? No more Summer Camp with professionals for hundreds of our valley’s kids? No more live Rocky Horror Picture Show? No more popup plays? No more Yuletide Affair? No more world class entertainment for locals and tourists alike? No more magnet that draws professional entertainers and their families to make this their home and work base?

Alpine Theatre Project is a very special part of what makes Whitefish special. Please be generous to help our treasure over this bump in the road and allow them some space to implement their new game plan for the new realities of live entertainment.
