Whitefish resort tax reallocation for full time residents

Twenty five percent of the 3% resort tax we all pay in Whitefish is refunded to property owners on their tax bills. This can amount to thousands of dollars reimbursed to out of state investors and second homeowners.

I propose that this refund be applied to:

1. Property owners that are full time residents. (Minimum 6.1 months)
2. Full time resident renters. After all, renters pay into this fund on a daily basis, yet get nothing back.
