Four rescued after falling through ice on Lower Stillwater

The Whitefish Fire Department rescued four people who fell through the ice at Lower Stillwater Lake on the afternoon of Wednesday, April 12.
Five agencies responded to the scene, including ALERT, Two Bear Air Rescue, North Valley Search and Rescue, Three Rivers EMS, Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks and Flathead County Sheriff's Office.
Officials warned that there is thin ice on the lakes around the valley this time of year and ice is never 100% safe.
