Whitefish Community Foundation will host a workshop on April 20 for nonprofit organizations interested in building effective marketing campaigns to promote their programs, events and issues. The workshop is part of the foundation’s Nonprofit Development Partnership (NpDP) and is offered free of charge to participants.

Margosia Jadkowski will present “Crafting a Successful Outreach Campaign” on Thursday, April 20 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Northwest Montana History Museum in Kalispell. Although there is no fee to attend the workshop, advance registration is required at whitefishcommunityfoundation.org/nonprofit-trainings.

Jadkowski will take participants through a step-by-step process to identify their audience, determine how to reach them, and craft effective messaging. She will offer tips for creating and implementing campaigns that align with available resources.

Jadkowski is a nonprofit communications professional with 12 years of experience in local and national organizations. She led research at Harvard University to develop a method of evaluating the effectiveness of nonprofit communication, and is now the director of marketing and communications for The Wilderness Land Trust.

The Dennis and Phyllis Washington Foundation is a sponsor of NpDP, partnering with Whitefish Community Foundation to bring quality nonprofit training to local nonprofits free of charge.
